Harper Adams University College and Longcliffe are building a strong educational and working partnership from foundations that began in 2009.
A student is selected annually, from a competitive list of countryside based course applicants, for a year long placement.
The successful candidate works within the company, dealing with the workforce, local authorities, interested parties and the general public to promote good practice, environmental awareness, conservation, protection, enhancement and habitat creation.
The partnership has mutual benefits for both parties: Longcliffe gain specific expert environmental guidance and advice; whilst the student gains valuable project experience in a real life working situation.
